Madrasah Term 2 Begins! 

Monday the 16th of April marks the beginning of Term 2 for Darra Madrasah. All parents are

encouraged to enrol their children in the Madrasah as soon as possible as places are limited.

Darra Madrasah has qualified teachers teaching the Qur'an and Islamic classes. Parents 

are encouraged to come and meet the staff of Darra Madrasah between 5pm and 7pm Monday 

to Thursday.  

Important Announcement

The Islamic Society of Darra wishes to inform the public that Imaam Ikraam Buksh has resigned

from his position as the Imaam of the Darra Mosque. We take this opportunity to thank Imaam

Ikraam Buksh for his efforts and contribution he made towards the growth of the Darra Madrasah

after taking over as Imaam approximately 3 years ago. We wish him all the best in the future.For

any further enquiries please contact the President Br Sayraz Mohammed or Acting Imaam Br Razak Mohammed.

Darra Madrasah

The Islamic Society of Darra currently runs a Madrasah which accomodates approximately 150 students.

There has been much work put into the Madrasah for years and by the grace of All-Mighty Allah the

Madrasah is running smoothly.

NEW PRINCIPAL

The Islamic Society of Darra Madrasah kindly informs all parents/guardians of the appointment of our new

principal Fuwaad Mohammed. We take this opportunity to thank Imaam Ikraam for his efforts and services

to Islamic Society of Darra Madrasah and wish him all the best.

DARRA MADRESSA 2012 TERM 2

This is to inform all parents that the Darra Madrasah term 1 schooling period ends 29th March 2012 and

term 2 starts on the 16^th of April 2012 after the school holidays.

Due to limited availability of seats, parents are encouraged to re-enrol their children as soon as possible.

Re-enrolments are being accepted from today during madrasah hours.

Darra Madressa is pleased to announce the recruitment of new and qualified teachers is in progress with

new teachers already recruited. Darra Madressa endeavours to focus on the quality of teaching and is

committed to delivering the highest standards of Islamic education to your children.
